Most people are familiar with the Gopro Hero Black series. This is a 5.3k waterproof action camera, with some very impressive frame rates. The best features on this model are the incredible hypersmooth 4.0 feature, and the easy to navigate touch screen. This has to be the perfect camera for filming any outdoor adventure with "movie like" quality, and many YouTubers swear by the Gopro as their full time vlogging camera.

Nikon W300
Nikon 4K Shockproof, Waterproof & Freezeproof Camera
This camera is one tough cookie! It is shockproof, freezeproof, waterproof and dustproof. I have been using this model for over a year now, and found it to be a great practical camera. It is ideal for the bike, whatever the weather. It can shoot video in 4K, has a great low light sensor for filming dark scenes, and also takes good pictures, with it's very simple point and shoot feature. This is the camera I would recommend for the more extreme camping trips!
Olympus TG-6
Olympus 4K Shockproof, Waterproof & Freezeproof Camera
Just like the Nikon W300, this camera boasts the same features: shockproof, waterproof, freezeproof and dustproof. A complete all round practical 4K camera, that can survive a variety of tough environments
This camera has a great low light sensor, and is very simple to point and shoot. This is a great camera for motorcycle camping, or any extreme sport for that mater.
Finepix XP130
Fujifilm 1080p Shockproof, Waterproof & Freezeproof Camera
At the cheaper end of the market is the XP130. If you are on a tight budget and cannot afford the W300 or TG-5, the next option is the Finepix XP130. This is an impressive camera for the price, and is freezeproof, shockproof and waterproof. It films in HD, and matches the video quality of a modern day HD smartphone. I would only recommend this model to someone, who needs a tough camera on a very strict budget.

Canon 5D

I had the pleasure of experiencing just how great this camera is, when it was used to film 6 professional music videos, that I worked on as the producer. This really is the high end of the market, for those of you looking to produce professional (industry standard) videos. I would do this camera no justice, by talking about it in this small text box, so I recommend you to research it yourself. It is an expensive camera, but it dominates the professional market! You really need to know your manual controls before you can appreciate this camera's full potential.
Sony Alpha 7

A high spec camera, with incredible image technology, and 5 axis stabilization. This camera would suit a dedicated video maker, or a professional photographer. Once again this is an incredible camera, and there is just not enough room here, to boast all of its features. Sony Alpha 37
Sony A37 HD Camera
This is the camera I use to film all of my vlogs. It is an SLT model, capable of filming in 1080I & 1080P. It is an incredible camera for taking semi-professional "still" pictures, and you can change lenses to suit your needs. The auto focus is very quick and accurate, and I would recommend this camera to anyone just starting out. It is simple to use, and an affordable model. It also has full "manual mode" for the more advanced user.
I choose this camera because of the environments I camp in - I really would not feel comfortable, taking an expensive professional camera, out in to the rain and mud.
